The Cotswold Navigation Rally and Scenic Tour
Sunday 17th July, 2016
For those wishing to make a weekend of their visit to the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour is being held on Sunday 20th July, and this year, the route will take us up over the Cotswold escarpment, offering spectacular views over the Vale of Evesham, the Malvern Hills and beyond. This highly popular event is open to all pre-war cars and will start from the Orchard at Prescott, taking in some sixty miles of the most glorious local scenery and calling in at numerous places of interest en route. There will be a pub lunch stop and the day will conclude with cream teas, results and the presentation of awards at Stanway House where there will also be an opportunity to view the 300′ gravity fountain in action. There will be a variety of classes and awards including the traditional Lewis & Nicholson Compass, hotly competed for by Morris and Austin teams.
For the navigationally-challenged, there will be a parallel Scenic Tour with clear maps and directions provided as well as a Tour Handbook detailing points of interest along the route.
