The Hidden Gloucestershire Rally and Scenic Tour
Sunday 23rd July, 2017
For those wishing to make a weekend of it, the Hidden Gloucestershire Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour are being held on Sunday 23rd July, and this year, the route will take us out west from Prescott to a region we have not visited before. This highly popular event is open to all pre-war cars and will start from the Orchard at Prescott, taking in some sixty miles of the most glorious local scenery and calling in at numerous places of interest en route. There will be a pub lunch stop and the day will conclude with cream teas, results and the presentation of awards at Stanway House where there will also be an opportunity to view the 300′ gravity fountain in action. There will be a variety of classes and awards including the traditional Lewis & Nicholson Compass, hotly competed for by Morris and Austin teams.
For the navigationally-challenged, there will be a parallel Scenic Tour with clear directions provided in a Tour Handbook detailing points of interest along the route.
