The Cotswold Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour
Sunday 21st July, 2019
For those wishing to make a weekend of it, the Cotswold Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour will take place on Sunday 21st July, and this year, the route will take us north east towards the Cotswold escarpment from Prescott. These highly popular parallel events are open to all pre-war cars and will start from the Orchard at Prescott on Sunday morning, taking in some sixty miles of the most glorious local scenery and calling in at numerous places of interest en route. There will be a convivial pub lunch stop and the day will conclude with cream teas, results and the presentation of awards at Stanway House where there will also be an opportunity to view the 300′ gravity fountain in action. There will be a variety of classes and awards including the traditional Lewis & Nicholson Compass, hotly competed for by Morris and Austin teams.
For the navigationally-challenged, there will be a parallel Scenic Tour with clear directions provided in an informative Tour Handbook providing descriptions of the various points of interest to be visited along the route.
