This week we are circulating invitations to dozens of one-make clubs and registers to join us at Pre-War Prescott. Pre-War Prescott offers an ‘umbrella’ for other clubs and registers to gather and enjoy the day without the financial commitment and organizational overhead that would result from a single club trying to book Prescott. The hill alone costs £6,000 for the day, and total costs come to about double that. So The Vintage Minor Register mounts the event and invites other clubs and registers to gather, providing them with their own parking area, areas for their specialist trade and autojumble stands, and so on – just as if it were their own event, but all their members have to do is enter and turn up – we do the rest. Thus we keep red tape to an absolute minimum, which is the key to Pre-War Prescott’s outstanding success.
