Saturday
When will my tickets arrive?
All tickets, final instructions, etc. are posted out in June. However, tickets for late entrants can be collected at the gate on the day.
Can I turn up on the day and pay at the gate?
Absolutely. However, climb tickets to climb the hill may sell out before the weekend.
What time do the gates open?
8-30 a.m.
Are spectators allowed?
Definitely. And at just £10 per person with free parking. Spectators have unrestricted access to the Paddock, the hill, the Bugatti Trust museum and all of the catering facilities all day.
Can I park in the Paddock next to my friends?
Yes! We have a semi-formal Paddock layout where we park marques together, but there is plenty of space should you wish to park with particular friends.
Can I bring my dog?
We are bound by standard motorsport safety regulations, so unfortunately no dogs are allowed at Prescott.
Can I buy more climb tickets on the day?
Possibly – depending on demand and there may be a FEW available due to cancellations on the day. If you need tickets on the day, we strongly recommend you arrive early. The gates open at 8-30 a.m., so arrive early and head straight for the Vintage Minor Register marquee in the Paddock where any spare tickets will be kept.
What regulations? Scrutineering?
No scrutineering, but there are a few regulations, and some of these deal with noise, so please make sure your car does not have loud, open exhausts. Here are the full regulations for the day: 2022 Regulations
Can children be taken as passengers up the hill?
Children in open top cars with the hood down must be over 16 years of age and at least 1.35m tall with the age limit reduced to 12 for cars with the hood up. Saloon cars are fine for children so long as they are belted in according to normal road traffic regulations pertaining to booster seats. Very young children are discouraged as they are not able to support their own neck in an accident. All children also need to have a parent or guardian sign their indemnity form on the day.
How fast must I drive up the hill?
As fast or as slow as you like, but this is not a competitive event. Just use your common sense. Drivers considered by the marshals to be driving recklessly or with excessive speed will be dealt with appropriately.
What catering is available during the day?
The Clubhouse restaurant and fully-licensed bar will be open all day, as will the snacks kiosk in the Paddock. Alternatively, many entrants and spectators bring picnics. It’s entirely up to you.
Sunday
What maps will I need?
For 2022, you will require OS maps 150 and 163 (any Edition) for the Navigation Rally. Scenic Tourists will require no maps as they will be provided with a Tour Handbook at the start containing explicit route instructions for the day.
What time do I need to be at the start?
Please arrive at The Royal oak at Gretton on Sunday morning between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. for both the Navigation Rally and the Scenic Tour. We need to get everyone away by 9 a.m. at the latest. If this means you have to miss your B&B breakfast, bacon baps and hot drinks will be available at the start.

Is there a lunch stop?
