The Cotswold Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour
Sunday 16th July 2023
For those wishing to make a weekend of it, the Gloucestershire Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour will take place on Sunday 16th July, and this year, the route will take us north towards hidden Gloucestershire from Prescott. These highly popular parallel events are open to all pre-war cars and will start from the Royal Oak at Gretton on Sunday morning, taking in some sixty miles of the most glorious local scenery and calling in at numerous places of interest en route. There will be a convivial pub lunch stop and the day will conclude at Stanway House, courtesy of Lord Wemyss, where results will be announced, awards bestowed and concluding with a private demonstration of the fabulous 300-foot gravity fountain. There will be a variety of classes and awards including the traditional Lewis & Nicholson Compass, hotly competed for by Morris and Austin teams.
For the navigationally-challenged, there will be a parallel Scenic Tour with clear directions provided in an informative Tour Handbook providing descriptions of the various points of interest to be visited along the route.
