D Types as far as the eye can see at Pre-War Prescott 2017. (Phil Jones)
It is June already and Pre-War Prescott 2018 is just over six weeks away! We’re looking at a fabulous day at Prescott on Saturday 21st July, followed by a fascinating Sunday exploring a variety of true hidden gems across Gloucestershire and the glorious Cotswolds, with a pub lunch at a highly quirky and secret location and concluding with home-made cream teas At the incomparable Stanway House, courtesy of Lord Wemyss where the unique 300-foot gravity fountain will be launched for us. The weekend will be ‘bookended’ by a Friday evening informal gathering on Friday evening at Ye Olde Hobnails Inn at Little Washbourne for early arrivers and a farewell run along the lane from Prescott to The Shutters Inn at Gotherington on Sunday evening. You may enter any or all of these activities.
As of this morning, we have already received 122 entries and are expecting around 200 cars in the Paddock on Saturday and around 60 Sunday entrants for the Navigation Rally and parallel Scenic Tour (42 have entered so far). Saturday climbs are going fast! 350 have already been booked out of an absolute maximum, if we are lucky, of 475. So if you have not yet entered but are intending to do so, now would be a very suitable time to click here and enter!
